Seiko SNKK25 wrist watches news:
Non-Hamilton Sunday today. thankfully work has now finished and I'm home at 12:05am.
I'm a huge dive watch fan, I was lucky enough to see the Rolex deep sea in person and when I saw that watch I was dumb founded by the size and thickness but when, I came across this thing while reading the july issue of IW magazine I was both shocked and surprise at the depth ratting and price for $ 4,000 dollars you get a cosc chronograph movement, 20,000 ft of wr's, and it's limited to only 1,000 pieces. Don't get me wrong if I had the money to get both the Rolex deep sea and the new CX Swiss Military watch pictured below I would honestly would have to go with the Swiss Military. How. bout you guy's.
Just sharing some macro/close-up shots I took this morning. Happy a Happy Easter!
On my way out of Tokyo today I decided to visit the Tokyo boutique in Ginza because I had a later flighty an expected.Well... I thought I'd go in and just see the boutique only pieces but I guess I don't have the self control to just walk out. I wanted to repurchase a SS Diver I sold a while back....well I guess I'll have it in ceramic form instead! Wanted to see if there was some technical knowledge that I could pickup regarding my 5711 that is in for service.I sent it to Patek because it would no longer wind via the winding stem. The watch still ran and kept time when worn and wound by the rotor. The estimate came back and said that in addition to the service I also needed a reduction wheel and a balance bridge.A search does not reveal much.Does anyone know what these parts do and are there any images to show where they are in the movement? Thanks for any help.
