Hublot 1810.130.1 wrist watches news:
Ok GangTime for some fun with a few Black Dialed Illinois. There are almost none of these around (I am sure Fred and Rick have examples)Thought I would gather mine together for a few family photos.Skyway:Beau Brummel:Transitional, Sterling Silver Depollier "Khaki"Trophy:Cavalier:Mate:Canby:Ritz:(Thanks to my dear Friend!)ENJOY
Well here she in the newest member of my Breitling family, a Breitling Transocean (A10360) just recently purchased. I LOVE this watch! I'It is simple and can be dressed up or down. The dial goes from a Cream color to Silver color depending on the lighting. And nothing beats a Breitling Gator strap for looks and comfort. I¡¯ve always had my eye on this model and the stars aligned to make this opportunity become a reality. The Transocean fits perfectly into my collection and will be worn often. I¡¯m so glad I did not hesitate on this one!
I will admit to being Patek-curious and somewhat intrigued by the 5522A. I know there were 600 released and they sold for about $21.5k and are currently about double that in the For Sale forum. The 5230G NY edition was limited to only 300 pieces and was offered at $53.2k and is currently available for about $70k here.I know the original price points are very different, but am surprised that the % premium for the WG world time model is somewhat less than the SS Calatrava pilot's watch. Does this surprise anyone else, or is it a case of SS being hot combined with the more fan friendly original entry point of the 5522A?
Well I caved. Here is my 5167A courtesy of George at govberg. Thanks to ken for the help and of course George for the excellent service. Better pics will come in due time : )
That PVD movement is truly beautiful.
