Bell & Ross BR-S Gold Black wrist watches news:
Hello everyone! I just found this forum yesterday and have been going over the posts - great info and fun reading. A lot of very knowledgeable folks here on one of my favorite things - old Hamilton watches. I currently own a refurbed Dickens(runs and looks great - from the early 40's? I believe), an original Myron from late '30's(runs and looks good), a Forbes from early '50's(runs and looks good) and a Sutton from the late 30's that runs well but has a loose crystal and no band - it also has an incorrect second hand but I love it anyway! I'll be wearing that one soon. The Dickens, Myron and Forbes get worn regularly. My wife wears the Myron often. I'll see if I can get some photos posted in the next week or so.Nice to meet you all.Tom
[B]____________The 2009 NYC GTG Report___ DAY 3 _______(GTG event) - 57 pics. ! ! )____B]SATURDAY - May 15th 2009 - The Main Event. We started our day with a nice breakfast in a not very fancy but cozy Morning Star restaurant on thecorner of 57th St and 9th Ave. As is it always the weekend following mother's day - the 9th Ave wasblocked off for about 20 block due to a fantastic food festival. We went in 2007 and 2008....and youbet - we went this year as well. After some walking through the food fest we jumped in the can and went to Cartier Boutique on 5th Avewhere we saw some phenomenal watches from Basel 2009 and also attended their exhibit upstairs thatincluded 231 carat diamond, Triple Crown Trophy as well as some cool Art Deco Mystery Clocks and manyother beautiful Cartier artifacts. We had to hurry up and be at the hotel before 2Pm so we could change andget to GTG on time. Despite shortage of time we walked by Omega Boutique and of course had to stop in.Leo still convinced us to sto
26320 for around 18.5k new. 26331 for around 22k new. Will the 26331 depreciate down to 17k used like the 26320? Should I wait til the hype dies down? I like the panda look but I like all 3 sundials same size and date window position on original...Hard call.
I'm thinking of buying a Speedmaster , there are so many models I thought I'd asked the experts before taking the plunge. I have narrowed it down to 2 (i think) 1) ref 3570.50 Moon watch or 2) ref 3507.51 Micheal Schumaker edition , black with white subdials. Which one would you recommend for first speedmaster or any other suggestions
I was worried about the size at 42 mm as I have relatively small wrists and tended to keep to 40 mm. The upside is the dial is very legible and a pleasure to read
