Cartier w2603256 wrist watches news:
"Swiss Made" is a powerful mark applied to some of the world's best products, but what does it mean? When it comes to watches it will mean a lot more starting in 2017 and is being applied not only to the movement inside of a watch, but the entire watch case, dial, and bracelet as well. "Swiss Made" does not now and will not then mean "100% Swiss Made." Many people do not know that the extent to which a watch is Swiss Made varies greatly from watch to watch and from one manufacture to the other. Of course "Swiss Made" can apply to other products as well but is most important in the world of timepieces. From what we can gather in 2017 "Swiss Made" as applied to Swiss watches will mean that 60% of the cost of a "Swiss Made" watch movement and case needs to come from Switzerland. The use of the Swiss Made label for watches is covered by an ordinance of the Federal Council dated December 23, 1971, and a more detailed?introduction of this ordinance can be found?at the site of the?Federation o
Hello Friends.I zipped down to see Sarah last weekend and we had a nice day at Hollywood Studios and Epcot Center. The weather was a bit on the cool side, but nothing we couldn't handle.I must say, the GMTII-C is absolutely amazing to travel with. Even when I have a short layover in Dallas, I advance the hour up and then again once I enter EST. It almost makes me feel like buying plane tickets just to use that function!BTW, I did pass my time on the plane listening to Jake's Watch Blog podcast which was very entertaining. Thanks, Jake.Sarah was wearing her YM, but it did not creep out from under her sleeve.Anyway, here are some pics....please enjoy. Just getting started at Hollywood Studios....note the watch This was the "Honey, I shrunk the Kids" exhibit. I could not resist. With the army guy from the movie "Toy Story"He was a pretty amazing man....only lived approximately 65 years, yet accomplished so much.Storm Troopers performing for the Kiddos...I love Star Wars.On the boardw
An old hand wound watch of mine, made in the late 1960's keeps great time (within 30 seconds per day) when being worn without the chrono being run, but according to it's new owner can lose a minute or more per hour when the chrono is being run constantly. Can I ask:-Is this to be expected? - I would never run a chronograph all the time, so haven't experienced this.Could running the chrono permanently be considered normal useCould the time loss be countered by frequent winding?Has the watch been damaged by running the chrono permanently? Thanks in advance.
I am looking for the bracelet pins for a 5066. Anyone know the size and where I can purchase?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
So is it true? Not only is the BLRO rumoured as being dropped, now it sounds like they¡¯ve dropped the LN as well?Sounds like a the GMT line could potentially be up for a complete overhaul...
