Omega Omega 9852 wrist watches news:
After reading about problems with a watch Ulackfocus purchased on Ebay, I thought I'd inquire about some similar problems I've had with a watch purchased from a buyer I've had reason to trust. My All Guard does not seem to wind automatically. I haven't looked at the rotor to see if there is any sign of wear from friction, but have never read anything about this as a problem with that movement. Originally it did not seem to stem wind, but if I wore it, it was fine. Then it stopped while wearing. I sent it for checking and it came back worse. I have read about some automatics (early bumpers) that did not wind sufficiently while wearing, but never anything like this about the 19AS. What kind of reserve should I expect? The seller last said perhaps I don't have enough wrist movement to keep it wound. Since I work in NYC, I know that is not the problem, it get lots of action! Any comment would be appreciated. It came to me "serviced."
Hello,I enclose some photos of my watch.Having searched the net, i have not found the same one and curious to learn more about it.What is it year for example?I would really appreciate your views.Kind regardsDavid
Hi, I'm a newbie to the world of watches and just got a couple of watches handed down to me. One is a Hamilton and the other is this Seiko Dolce Exceline. I'd appreciate any information regarding this watch. I don't think my Grandfather even took it out of the case. Still has the warranty card, all in Japanese. Purchased at Matsuda Watch in Fussa-Shi. Thanks for your help.
Just made a trade for this one - any experience with this brand? - needed an affortable dress watch - thought this one looked great - very thin - great quality - very small date for old eyes:)Can the mesh band be cut shorter?thanks pjh
I would appreciate your opinions.I sent in my $150, waited about 3 months and received my Extract.I will try to make this short. The Speedy I purchased is a 105.012-65 with a 1506 bracelet and #16 ends. Original dial, dot over 90 bezel, and original hands. When I received the watch I immediately had it serviced. Unfortunately, it needed a new chrono second hand as whoever did the previous service glued the chrono second hand back on and that original second hand could not be re-used in my service. I also had the hesalite crystal replaced with an original. The watch is now accurate to about 3 seconds per day with a 55 hour power reserve. Great watch!I bought the watch from the second owner who says the original owner bought the watch in the US, lived in the US for about 30 years, moved to London for about 20 years and then back to the US before passing away. The Extract I received says the watch is a 105.003 delivered in Great Britain in 1966 with No information regarding the band. I qu
