Hublot 525.OX.0180.LR.1904 wrist watches news:
the actual accuracy of a "time-keeping" device means a great deal to me when plunking down (to me) huge sums of money for such. everything i've read here leads me to conclude that Rolex's in-house movements exude accuracy. am i right thinking this?it wasn't long ago i thought a Rolex watch cost what it did only because of the brand name.
'worth' my be a relative term, but what do you guys think a value of a Rolex part tin would be? I got it for free from a seller, there was an Elgin size 12 dial in it!Not like I'm going to pitch it if it's not worth 100$, but I dunno if these things have any sort of monetary value or if I should just keep it to put parts in
How do some internet companies sell Rolex watches for considerably less money than others?I see so many sites that insist that their product is 100% authentic, but for thousands of dollars less. I have also seen websites from China that sell Rolex hang tags, boxes and paperwork only. Many of the auction items claim to have all the proper supporting documentation. Are there that many fakes being passed off as real watches? Are legitimate buyers being duped regularly?
Hello all,When I was first interested in this watch, I had a hard time finding any decent pictures. I'll post all of my best for anyone interested in the Master Collection. These pictures are dedicated to E8ArmyDiver, who is in fact, the bomb diggidy. The first three pictures capture the face of the watch. The blued steel hands really stand out here.photo.jpgphoto-1.jpgphoto-2.jpgObviously a wrist shot is necessary. I know the watch can't be seen clearly, but the white dial matches the background so well that I had to use this one.photo-3.jpgAnd finally, the sapphire caseback, showing half of the movement underneath.photo-4.jpgAll of these pictures were taken with the camera on my iPhone 4s. They were not kidding about the "improved camera".The pictures aren't as small as they seem, and clicking on them will show you a larger image. I wish I knew how to make them appear bigger in the post, but I suppose this will have to do for now. The third picture has apparently been turned sideways
OK, I am new to the forum just trying to understand the Rolex terms. When asking about replacing an existing dial on a Daytona with another color Rolex dial, the AD I spoke to says that Rolex would then consider that a counterfeit item and would not service it. What is the reasoning for this from Rolex if the watch is genuine? I am not wanting this done, only trying to understand the issues.
