I got a call from an AD today of availability of a 5124G. I am getting my 5124J soon so I'm passing on it but if anyone is looking send me a PM or email.

I'm the new guy. My name is Rick. CNC programmer/Machinist and high performance/Muscle car enthusiast. I've got my eye on a 116613LN lately. Funny story. When I was in my early 20's I was walking home from one of those blowout parties I used to go to on a regular basis. It was early and I was pretty hung over and it had rained during the night. When I looked down and saw something shiny half way sticking out of the mud. I picked it up and could see it was a watch but it was covered in mud. So I got it home and rinsed it off in the sink and it was a Rolex. Not sure what model it was and didn't really know what I had but I do remember it was gold with a blue face but it wasn't a Submariner. I took it to a pawn shop and they gave me $1,000 cash for it and probably turned around and sold it for 3 times that. I wish I had kept it now.

Avenger or Superocean abyss
Hi - my local AD has 2 pre owned watches a titanium Avenger dated 2010 and a superocean abyss with blue inner dial dated 2011. So both pre owned, prices similar and both in good condition. Which is the best/better watch and how many years before they would need a service ? Do you have any good or bad experiences or any advice to help me.Thanks

Patek, which one?
Hello,I'm 26, my dream was to own a Patek Philippe since I started my collection, 5 years ago. I have the opportunity right now to buy one, but I have a question.I have tried different brands, 7 Seiko, Luminox, Fortis, Casio, 2 Longines, Oris, Breitling, 2 Omega, 2 Panerai, 5 Rolex, Blancpain... but I always said, finish with a Patek. Well, after try different brands and watches, finally I've decided to sell all the watches that I own right now (2Pam 1Omega) but keep my Rolex 14060m ''no cosc'' THE BEST WATCH EVER! My question, what do you think, I should buy a Nautilus 5711/1a or Aquanaut 5167a on rubber strap?The movement inside I think is the same. Just the outside is different. As I said, I'll keep my 14060m and the Patek, both for everyday watch :)I will finish to collect watches if I buy the Patek? yes, I'll try. Hulk... real question ahead...
Now then, The Hulk vs Batman topics are getting a bit boring, every few days this question pops up... 'which one to go for'... the answer to this rather bland question is... WHATEVER YOU LIKE MOST.Back in 2014 both where sitting in the window of an AD as i walked passed... had to go and try them both on... The hulk, although nice, its just too green and a limited wear watch, by that I mean it shouts too much on the wrist and the green clashes with a lot clothing colours... the BLNR on the other hand, much more toned down, the blue looks bright or dark depending on the light. Yes, the Hulk dial is amazing, the bezel also pings... but too much IMO.Now, back to my question...The Hulk hype is currently going off the scale, rumours that this is going to be discontinued shortly (to which NOTHING has been confirmed, despite what people are reporting for Ad's!) Prices are going through the roof due to 'talk'. My Ad is still taking orders! Soo... with all this in mind... the question...Would th
