New F1 series ?
I just got home and was about to make my new purchases but then just saw this. I know what the older F1 series looks like, but I thought it was the last model avail. Is this a complete fake F1 model or is it legit ? I really like the numbers on it, but want to make sure its an actual model..

Omega restoration triumph.
A little over 20 years ago, my Grandfather died suddenly and his widow, his 2nd wife, simply packed up his belongings and locked them in his workshop with all his tools, and that we sadly thought was that. I was told it had all been given away. So it was quite a surprise to find it all sitting there undisturbed when she passed away earlier this year. I found amongst it all a very sorry looking Omega Seamaster Memomatic. It wasn't working and the movement was clanking around inside, but still I was excited at the thought of getting it working again and having a quality lasting memory of him to hand down to my son. I took the watch to 3 different watch makers; 2 of whom told me it was rusted through and not worth their time to restore, and the 3rd quoted me ?1200+ to see it working again. Rather downheartedly I trudged home with it in my pocket. On my route I passed a jewellers I had walked past hundreds of times in my life and never really looked in. Does anyone know when the slate grey 116509 come out?
Hi all.Does anyone know when the grey dial 116509 with the superluminova Arabic numerals came out? I've seen one on wf no b&p but says 2009? Thought that combo was newer than that. Also this one has a red large seconds hand, thought it came with silver... can anyone help shed light for me?

AD called but not the call I was hoping for!
I am at the top of the list at my AD for the white face Daytona so when I received a call I jumped! Unfortunately, it was not for the Daytonac. They offered me the SD50. It is a watch I am interested in but prefer the Daytona. I truly feel like my collection is almost complete.Here's a pic of my collection.What say you guys? Add the SD50 or not?
