Suggest a Seiko, Citizen or???
Looking for either kinetic, solar or auto with a black IP case, bezel and bracelet. I prefer a textured dial. I would jump on the deal on the SUN007 in the sales forum, but I have an 005.Open to sporty, diver or dressy, and also to other brands. I might consider a conventional quartz, but it'd have to be a great deal on a knockout of a watch.

A bit late to the party
Well my Clerc CXX finally arrived. Being on the west coast and about as far from FL as you can get makes for a long wait, but I have to say it was worth it.Nice fit and finish and an above average bracelet. I did manage to get one screw part way out, then it froze. Fortunately, I was still able to size it on the other side and get the screw back in a bit. I could use some advice about what to do next with the screw that is stuck. I'm thinking a jeweler or watch guy if I can find one around these parts.

Incoming: My first Patek
Ever since I was a child, I have always been infatuated with watches. My mother and father are both collectors of sorts and it has definitely rubbed off on me. The sickness only has gotten worse since I purchased my first Rolex in 2005 and hasn't gotten any better since joining TRF last summer I have gone through many watches and brands since then. Including Audemars Piguet, IWC, Omega, Tudor, Panerai, etc...but for as long as I can remember I have always wanted a Patek. It has been a long, long, expensive journey full of mistakes and lots of lessons learned...Special thanks to Mr. David Farkas, aka PerpetualMan88 for making this possible. David and I go back while, this being our fourth transaction together and I can't say enough good things about our interactions. He has always taken the time to answer my stupid questions, texts, and concerns. He and I have been discussing a Patek for me for ages and he reached out when he found the perfect one.
