Russian 'Bullhead' Chronograph. The styling is certainly not for everyone, but if you like things a little 'different' like I do, it's a lot of fun. 43mm, Sapphire Crystal, Russian Movement #31681 beating @ 21,600. Hunter type case back opens to show Chronograph movement. Very luminous dial. One of 3 'Bullheads' I have from Volmax and love them all. Kurt
Hi Guys,So I've noticed a change in the rotor on the 3120 calibre on the current models. It appears that AP have reduced the amount of material/gold being used by cutting away at the underside. You can make out the profile from the two pictures below. The first picture is the older version and the second picture is the newer version. When I first noticed this 'new' rotor on my watch I was disappointed, since I like the profile and fullness of the old rotor. I know you can't really see it but from all the pictures I saw on the internet and pinterest the images were of the old rotor which just looked nice since its profile followed that of the movement beneath (3rd pic). So prices go up and they use less gold to save more, which is the only reason I can see. Would there be any other benefit for the new style of rotor? Less resistance? Anyway, it's just an observation I noticed and I didn't find any info on the forum or internet so thought I'd see if any of you guys had noticed.RegardsM.
I was under the impression that the price rise was due 2nd jan, but looking at online ADs here in the UK (watch gallery) it doesn't seem to have happened...can anyone confirm if any ADs have bumped the price up?
I¡¯ve got a decent collection of Rolex¡¯s and now I¡¯ve gotten the Patek bug. I know the 5711 in stainless ain¡¯t happening so I¡¯ve narrowed it down to the 5711r or 5726 both on bracelet. I¡¯m kinda torn because I want an annual calendar/moon phase (hence why I¡¯m looking outside rolex) but also eventually wanted something rose gold in my collection. Prices seem to be all over the place, I don¡¯t plan to resell, but if I buy from a trusted seller which one would I likely lose less on down the road? Or should I get on a wait list at an AD. I know the rolex game but Patek is new to me, your input is appreciated.
