Audemars Piguet 26062FS.OO.A002CA.01 wrist watches news:
Angular, functional, faded jeans for the wrist. The C1 Vintage stainless steel case receives a blue PVD coating, giving it a deep gunmetal color. Then it’s placed in a vibrating drum along with deburring chips, water and a detergent compound and subjected to over two hours of friction and rotation. The result is a shotblasted patina that mimics years of wear. Add a distressed leather strap and you’ve got a great looking mean blue time machine. The C1 Vintage chronograph retails for $13,900. For those of you (everyone) who have multiple Rolexes that have differing bezel sizes (ie. DJ to YM), do you have difficulty going from the larger bezel to the smaller one? For instance, a "My DJ seems smaller because I was wearing my YM all weekend" sort of thing. I ask this because I have always been interested in the LV, however, I have been wearing my GMT-C for about a year, so when I try on LV at the AD - I just cannot get into it because the LV "feels" smaller bezel-wise (yes I know they are both the same size at 40mm). Since the LV seems smaller, as does any non-ceramic bezel sport model IMHO (with the exception of the YM) I just cannot go back to the pre-ceramic sport models. This is extremely unfortunately because I really like the LV but it feels smaller and therefore I probably will never get it. Moreover, I am growing concerned because I eventually will get the DeepSea (obviously its a lot bigger than the GMT-C) and I fear at that time I will no longer want to wear my G
Pieces like this make my eyes spin. I think it's way too busy and too hard to read. How about you?
I did not get a new watch but I enjoyed some Johnnie Walker Blue Label! If you have not had Blue Label you should definitely check it out! It is a bargain at $40/shot!Also it just so happened that my drink finished off a bottle, and so the bartender was nice enough to send the bottle home with meIt was a great birthday!
Anyone know what MSRP price has gone up the most in the last 15-20 years?
