Fake Breitling??? Please help.
Ok, heres the story. I bought this Breitling Chronomatic from ebay about a year ago. I know I probably shouldn't have.but I did. About 9 months after I bought it the watch stop winding itself. I sent it to a Breitling Certified Tech and said that this is not an Transocean. I agree, the back lid has a Ref. 2129 which does belong to a Transocean. I don't believe that the lid belongs to this watch. He also said that the movement was milled down to obliterate the original maker and re-engrave Breitling. However, i've looked at dozens and dozens of movement pictures that were Ref. 2111 and 11 caliber and they look identical. I am not a professional but man...if this is a fake it is a really good one. I just need some expert advise. Can someone tell me if this entire watch is fake, some parts are fake or a Real Breitling with some wrong parts. My question is, how sand sea resistant against scratches is the 904L from the sub?I will definitely remove the bracelet and wear my LV on a NATO or an Erikas Original. But what about the watch head?
