Omega 224.32.55.21.01.002 wrist watches news:
The Dagaz Aurora dive watch is a mash-up of styles and is a refreshing departure from the pack of micro-brand divers that play it safe design-wise. The Aurora represents a very personal take by Jake Bourdeau, the owner of Dagaz Watch Ltd. (10watches), who came up with the design while vacationing?Macau and took home some solid winnings at the casinos."The inspiration for the piece came to me on my vacations in Hainan where we go scuba diving, and Macau, which is known as the ¡®Monte Carlo of the Orient' with its casinos and Grand Prix racing," he said. "The watch is, of course, first and foremost a dive watch, and is heavily inspired by both racing and casino influences, showing in the vintage rally diver feel and the roulette wheel dial."The Aurora feels like you're wearing a watch that can go on an adventure. It's a watch that attracts attention, but doesn't call for it. My officemates, who never say anything about my variety of watches, commented positively on the Aurora and a repeat
I just picked these up at my watchmaker...the lighting is terrible...storm outside, can't any good natural light. Will try for better pics tomorrow:1. Psychadelic Omega:2. Grandfather's Bulova3. great Grandfather's Longines:All three had their movements serviced and cases cleaned. The psychadelic Omega is something I have never seen before. The Bulova belonged to my grandfather and then my father. I can't find hands for the Longines, but the movement is spectacular and the watch has sentimental value. It looks better on the wrist than under the glare of the Nikkor lens and artificial light.Glad to have these three ticking away at home.Wearing the Omega now:
Like everyone else, I try to use a credit card to purchase anything. Points/cash back, piece of mind and of course extended warranty protection. Depending on your AMEX (I'm sure other brands offer this as well) you'll receive one extra year added to the original manufacturer¡¯s warranty. Of course, you'll receive a better price by paying in cash, so I guess I'm wondering what price you guys value an extra year? Send off your watch for the water resistance test and that's another. Thoughts?I can't even begin to explain how helpful this benefit of my credit card has been in the past. With computers alone it's saved me thousands.
Seemingly harder and harder o find correct pp's these days, do you have any remarks about this item?link to norwegian auction siteOmega Constellation Pie-Pan caliber 561, 1963Shouldnt these come with that hexagon-like crown?
Haven't been able to see the 5905 in the metal - on a list with my AD and am guessing sometime in calendar 2016 but not a certainty. The 5960p blue dial is pretty sweet and they are available. Am interested in opinions from those who have seen both. Of note, I sold my 5205R because it seemed small and thick. The 5960 has a bit bigger dial and the pushers give it better proportions than the 5205, but certainly the 5905 will wear bigger. Thoughts?
