Hello all,Yesterday we received our 1st authorized shipment of the GS auto SBGR055. I have to say that again, pictures do no justice for this watch. You truly cannot appreciate until it was on your wrist. There is a slight parchment paper texture to the dial that is very difficult to see even in person, yet at the same time, it is one of the purest whites I have ever seen.My interest in this piece went up tremendously after trying it on. Why is there a shortage of SS sports models? 20 years ago it seemed like every AD had doubles of every SS sports model and was readily offering discounts.Is it that the current typical buyer is more sporty in fashion and taste?As in, the older generation would pick something on a strap or something like a Datejust?It appears to my untrained eye that Rolex isn't meeting demand. Are they disconnected to the economic trends? Perhaps, not too concerned - being a charity?Or, maybe they are shrewder then they appear - letting out SS models at a trickle, further pushing up their brand?

So a little before Christmas I posted a pic of almost the same watch for sale at Costco in Cumming GA. Now today I¡¯m at the one in Buford, GA and the price is jacked $1500 above the other one. Now the only diff. I see is the one above is the gold leafed dial. The other one from last week was not (see below)Not really a rant - just that this Xosco infection is spreading Sent from my iPhoneX using Tapatalk
