Audemars Piguet 26170st.oo.d101cr.01 wrist watches news:
Timepieces like the Random Ghost (ref. SUOK111) are examples of how Swatch made inexpensive timepieces cool in the 1980s, and how Swatch's artistic way of approaching wristwatches is still extremely relevant today. The Random Ghost is in the New Gent collection and is a totally transparent watch with a colorful, exposed quartz movement. The reason Swatch calls it the "Random Ghost" is because the pieces of the movement are colored and chosen at random when the watch is produced resulting in 15,120 possible color combinations. This effectively means that you'll be hard pressed to find two which are exactly the same, and most all Random Ghost watches are unique. The concept is simple, but quite satisfying as the watch's quartz guts are the most prominent feature on this totally skeletonized watch thanks to the clear plastic case. Visually interesting, this under $100 watch is arguably much more fun to wear than pieces costing many, many times as much.I got to play with a Random Ghost watc
hi Guys I Was Watching A Video About The Blancpain 50f, And The Most Extraordinary Thing Was Its Scratch Resistant Sapphire Bezel. So, Tell Me About This: Gmt2 Ceramic Bezel Vs 50f Sapphire Bezel.
Anybody have photos of these other than the same stock picture that I see everywhere they are advertised? I'd particularly like to see the silver dial with gold markers and hands, but all variants will be appreciated. I can't tell from the stock pictures if the overlapping rings are too much, or just enough! I'd have thought sellers would use good photos - but I guess I'd have been wrong...
Are these readily available at dealers anywhere in the world or are they as rare as people say? Unused selling for 5k over retail in the U.K.Could fly anywhere in the world to pick one up for that premium!
I finally got my Submariner back from the AD in Englewood, Colorado. I have to say that it shines like a new watch although I originally bought it in the Base Exchange in the early - mid 70's. I paid about $175.00 for it because it was a return and didn't have any box or papers. I plan to gift it to my step son in a week or so because he is the kind of man you hope your daughter will bring home from college .To complete the deal I would like to tell him the vintage of the piece and I'm hoping someone here could close the loop for me so I can tell him some of the history of it:model: 5513ser. no:6128020I served in Southern Command from mid-1970 through late 1975 and I think I bought the watch early 1970's.Thank you.Jerry Crawford.
