Questions for ya folks.
Hey everybody I've finally got a couple "good" questions for you guys, at least I think they're good.I've seen many vintage pics of Subs and SD's and some not so vintage pics(circa 1997ish)with really beautiful well aged patina and so far just about every one I've seen I believe carries the T<25 or T swiss T indicating tritium indices. My SD M series(2007) purchased on December 2008 has either luminova or the superluminova indices. Now here's the questions....should I expect to see some form of patinazation down the road on a luminova dial? And my watch glows green not blue like the new SDDS, is the blue Super Luminova? Thank in advance for all you're help guys!

Next we jumped on a flight from Frankfort to Munich on Lufthansa and they lost our luggage!!!We thought that we might have better luck getting on a flight to Spain from there but no dice!Munich was VERY NICE ! ! !After almost three days in Munich we were still checking the loads trying to get to Adam and Spain but it was just not in the cards.We really loved Munich but we had to leave, hotel rates were going to triple due to the October Fest that was going to start in only three more days. I was running low on cash at this point and all of the flights to Spain were still booked solid so we just decided to go back to Chicago. Tiffany was able to land us a couple of FIRST CLASS tickets on United so we jumped on that flight VERY fast. We will try for Spain once again someday but our travel dates will be OFFSEASON ! ! ! ! Sorry Adam, we tried VERY hard ! ! !

Hi,I came across this site while doing research for a new watch purchase and I have been amazed at the wealth of information and the helpfulness of the members. I try to make more of an informed decision these days as I have a greater respect for my dollar and where it comes from.I love the style of the Rolex Submariner but I can't see spending that much on a time piece at this point in my life. Luckily there are many options available with a similar look and style without that hefty price tag. Now, if you were able to purchase such a piece that is great and I would love to have a look. However, it's not in the cards for me. A friend told me to look into buying a fake Rolex and that just didn't sit well with me. I'm sure they have their place in the watch market but I'll have to pass. Also, the one he was wearing has stopped working and the idea of taking it to the local jeweler seems to give him pause. I may have narrowed it down to a few and wanted to get other member's opini

Straped watch storage - In the round, or laid flat?
I am considering a watch box purchase. Several of my watches have bracelets. They of course would go in this box around a pillow of sorts. I wonder though, is it better or preferable in any way to NOT do that with strapped watches. I have seen some for sale that allow the watch to be laid flat and placed in a watch shaped opening. This would be unbuckled of course. Probably not good for deployants, but I don't use those.So anyway - interested in your thoughts as always. Thanks all!
