Baume & Mercier Baume & Mercier 4586 wrist watches news:
We will warn you right now – this one gets nerdy. But, we mean that in the best possible way. Over the past few years, there has been an increased interest in the historical watches from the Tudor Watch Company – no doubt due to the fantastic modern watches shown by the brand. We're talking the Heritage Chronograph, the Black Bay, the Pelagos, the Heritage Advisor, and the Ranger. Many of the watches mentioned here are direct results of historical watches from the Tudor archives, a rich bank of bright colors and risk-taking designs. Today, we are proud to present you with an unprecedented look inside the official archives of the Tudor Watch Company. Yes, these are the watches owned by Tudor themselves, many of which have never left its Geneva Headquarters – and this includes more than one prototype that was never put into production. 1 OF 65 1932 Tudor For Australian Market 2 OF 65 The Tudor name goes all the way back to 1926, when Hans
BNIB discontinued Titanium SMP. For those who've never handled one, it's not as light as you'd think. Some Ti watches feel almost as if they're made of plastic they're so light. This isn't as heavy as stainless obviously but you certainly know you're wearing it...It probably didn't sell all that well either, due to its substantially higher price than the stainless 2254.50...
To all who wish to be helpful:I am a watch newbie. There I said it. Phew! I got it out there. I am a college student with a low budget. I have had some nice watches given to me, but I can not where them. I am allergic to most metals. Here in lies the problem. My brother was in the United States Marine Corps and has the knowledge that I have a metal sensitivity. He purchased a Harris ceramic chronograph watch. Here is the watch I recieved. Now my issue is that I am a very modest man and the dial on the watch is somewhatgod-y. Since the watch was given to me by my brother and it is the only thing he has ever given me I would like to wear it.Now that you have my back story, I would like to know if there was any trusted places I could send the watch to replace the dial with a more modest dial? Or even if a watch repair center could do that?I hope someone can provide me with some assistance.THANKSMRL
AP Royal Oak Chronograph in Pink Gold on Alligator strap and AP pink gold folding clasp. Decided to go AP this time as my last 4 watches were Rolexes. I'm pretty damn happy with this one.
I¡¯ve been looking for a slim dress watch and narrowed it down to the 5120G, which unfortunately is discontinued. I prefer 2 hands and micro rotor over the current 3 hands/manual 5119.Was about to commit until the seller dropped this bomb. Not sure if I¡¯m just unrealistic to expect an unpolished 5120 (but who wears a dress watch daily to warrant a polish ), but 14 years is old. The lugs also don't look sharp at all.The 5119 is now only $17480 list, so what do you all feel about $13500 for this 5120? Full set with papers. From seller:This watch has been refinished, and it looks great. It was originally purchased in 2003. We do not have any service records for it, but it was fully tested/inspected by our watchmakers and deemed to be in proper working order.
