- I love this watch, the color is great, just like the picture! I got it in turquoise. However, Ive only had it for a few weeks and the strap already looks dingy, but its still cool.

Cartier wb520010 wrist watches news:
As seems to be a natural step in the evolution of a new watch enthusiast, I am progressing from looking at vintage Omegas to pulling the trigger on one. In a fit of workday boredom, I bought this from a seller on another forum. The price was right. The time was right (it was a moment of weakness). After closing the deal, I noticed a few forum threads by the owner posted in an effort to find the history/info of the watch (links coming soon). As I wait for Pony Express to delivery it, I figured I'd post a pic or three to see if anyone had any info on this watch.
Oris Diver datea Pictorial Review by WB.as a diver piece, i like everything about it.the bezel is the best ive used. its easy to grab with wet, sweat or grassy hands.its a diver so the lume must be good, in fact, it is good! both the bracelet and the rubber band are awesome.the crown is a joy to usethe attention to detail in the dial is superbthe case shape is very original, heavy and good lookingin the wrist, its a monster, really a tool watch.the caseback is a must have, shows the original and appealing Oris Red Rotorthe case its 44mm but the bezel is 41mm, still wears big.looks good from everywherei love it!
Does anyone knows why a quartz watch like this is so expensive (more than 3,550 US$ is the cheapest I found on-line)? By the way, I had already asked this as a part of a different conversation in a thread which is in the general forum but I think there the question is too hidden to be seen, I don't know whether I am supposed to edit my original post in the general forum.GLF
I've recently been interested in vintage watches and Longines makes some of the pieces I'm most interested in. I am posting here to see your opinions on these watches helping me identify if it is worth its price of $175 and $225 respectively. Please let me know your thoughts and advice on this piece. Also, I found this Longines that has sparked my interest, same questions as above. (This one is $225)I can see myself loving and wearing both of these nice watches, both have mentioned new straps light case polish and a new crystal. So ladies and gentlemen of the Longines forum, I'd like to know your thoughts which is a better value, which is nicer, and which is the better watch. I await your enlightenment!
Nothing better than meeting friends and talking watches, specially when they have such good taste!!
