Hope this finds everyone enjoying the long weekend
Stole this idea from another forum 'cause I liked it. Some beautiful watches turned up on that thread and since I (we) just got here, I thought it would be nice to see some of your watches! The theme for this thread is black and red. Basically, post some pics of black bezels with red "accents". Here are a few of my pics I had a lot more than I thought!! Yeah, some "red" ones are actually orange, but who cares MARATHON TSARCITIZEN ECO DRIVE 200 MVECTOR X-BLACKFRANKENMONSTERZODIAC OCEANAIREDIEVAS OCEANTIMEROCEAN7 LM-1ENZO EM050 (ok, it's orange, sue me..)BATHYS 100 FATHOMSENZO EMVIWW MARINE DIVER GMTTAG F-1 ALARMSINN U-1SWISS MILITARY CHRONODEBAUFRE OCEAN 1 GMTSINN 256OMEGA SMPMARATHON JSAR

Hello! I am new to this forum. I have been trying to study and learn about watches for the past year or so, and about a year ago I bought my first watch of what I hope to be a big collection some day - A Victorinox Ambassador Automatic with day and date, blue face, and stainless steel bracelet. I am very happy with the watch, and am ready to purchase another addition to the collection. I know a little about watches, but definitely have much to learn.A friend has a Fortis Cosmonaut automatic watch that he received as a gift. He does not really know much about watches, and in the several years he has owned it, has only worn it three times. He has the original box and papers, and everything is perfect. It is stainless steel with a black face, and displays the day and date. The model number is 610.22.11M. I beleive the original MSRP on this watch, from what I was able to research online, was approximately $800. I attached a stock online picture of this model to this post.My question is wha
I would appreciate if those with ROCs and the 2385 movement could chime in here. I was watching the date change around midnight and noticed two things:- Around 30 minutes before midnight the datewheel had started turning slightly into the next date (perhaps by 1/5). By Midnight it had turned slightly more (around 1/3).- At 10 minutes past midnight it finally changed over to the next date in one quick flip, just like on a Rolex. Is this normal and within spec? My Rolexes flip over around 3-5 minutes past midnight and I was wondering if the same should be the case for APs. Looking forward to being schooled
