Audemars Piguet 25977ST.OO.D002CR.01 wrist watches news:
Hi, I recently purchased a vintage Hamilton Electric wristwatch that I think it is the 'Everest' model. See attached photos. The watch is in excellent+ condition. The watch has the original Hamilton-marked Alligator band and Hamilton-marked buckle. I believe it is the first electric watch. The movement is the 505. It was in a vintage Hamilton case. Can anyone tell me anything about this watch, i.e. age, value, number of jewels what battery it takes, scarcity, etc. I want to get it going and even wear it sometime, but I don't know what battery is required. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and regards, gkenny. i61.tinypic/39b0i.jpgi59.tinypic/2n1i7i1.jpg
Well, Looks like I'm part of the Breitling Club. Today's my 30th Birthday and My parent's got me a Breitling Cockpit. I actually picked it up a couple of weeks ago and planned on it being my present to myself, but they insisted they wanted to get me something nice for me being three decades old.....so I handed it over to them....gift wrapped and all I happen to really like the watch, it's comfortable, and not one of the huge abomination's that Breitling loves to put out.I'm not big on fancy pics, and I haven't been home long enough to play with the camera. So here's a shot of it with the cell.
Does anyone know the bracelet reference number for the Planet Ocean Titanium 42mm (232.90.42.21.03.001)? Looked everywhere and can't find it. Thanks.
I'm curious if anyone has an answer, is the PO crown still waterproof to any degree when unscrewed?Rolex claims that both the twinlock and triplock crowns will maintain their watertight nature even when fully unscrewed, so I'm wondering if Omega has the same or similar design. I sometimes think about what would happen if I showered or swam with my PO 8500 with the crown unscrewed (don't worry, I'm not brave enough to do it).I suppose the best way to find out would be to unscrew the crown an put it in a pressure tester and see at what point it fails...
Would you buy a Sub date if you already owned a Batman? Or do you feel they are to similar? Thanks for any input
