I Liked the theme of a thread from another forum so much, I thought I'd start it here too.As a shy newbie, it helped me become more at ease, visualizing members at their keyboards, typing away their banter and reacting to posts.Let me start with my own POV, a typical Sunday morning at Siopao Central.I hope you'll join in Houston, I already have a picture in my mind of an oak table you inherited from your great grandfather, hunting/fishing pictures on the wall, reference books within arms reach and at least one of your watches somewhere on the desk.NOTE: Being in the picture is optional.

For those of you who have GMT watches be sure to set your watch to GMT time; for the of you with chronographs be sure to have them fully wound and ready to go and for everyone, make sure you carry a small flashlight to charge your lume and light your way. Why? Starting 05:29 GMT time Tuesday morning, 12:29 EST and on Monday night for CST and westward begins the total eclipse of the moon. Should be a great one for those who have a clear sky. Hey CometHunter, better get out the Windex and clean your lenses.

X-33: help with setting time, cleaning needed?
I have an X-33 that was part of a military group buy with special engraving that has sentimental meaning.I believe the proper way of setting time was to set the digital time, then the analog hands would sync. While setting the digital time is easy, the analog hands aren¡¯t syncing properly.Any hints or suggestions?Has anyone here used LAWW for quartz watches? I live in Pasadena area and am less than 10 miles away, but wanted to troubleshoot for easy things myself.Thanks!
