Anyone has pictures of their Omega Speedmaster Date? In particular one with a black bezel and dial? I would like to see how it looks like. Model 3210.50I wonder how big it looks in size compared to a Seamaster?Thanks for your help

Hey GuysNow that Basel week is over I was wondering what you liked of the new releases. My belief as you may have read is that this is a watershed year for Omega in view of the changeover to the cal 8500/8501 which accounts for the relatively few actual new watches that are destined for the long term. The Olympics of course also played a part in the issues. Einstein's pocket watch
Hey guysDid you know that Einstein did own a Longines pocket watch?iI read this from the Longines website...However!!!My AD has one, made of stainless steal....I know that Longines does not make pocket watches anymore cause they are not in their site not even in their brochures...So is there any possibility that the pocket watch that my AD sells might be so old??? its about 500 euros!!!

My first German watch - Sinn 857
I have been a bit busy lately, so never got around to doing a proper introduction to my latest addition - a Sinn 857.I had seen this pop up from time to time in the daily wrist thread and elsewhere and really liked the tool-like functional look of it. I also like a GMT watch, which also added to my desire. I had originally liked it on the strap, but soon found I preferred the bracelet. The watch is made with tegimented steel, a process Sinn uses that makes it much harder than stainless; it also gives it a darker looking tint.The watch is very solid and well made. It really feels bulletproof without feeling like it weighs a ton. Everything works with good German precision, the bezel, crown etc. I feel very confident in using the watch.I might still get the strap for it, just to give me some options, but am loving it just the way it is.

Explorer II ceramic - the next generation.
The photo below is a current Explorer II which I found whilst browsing eBay today, but due to the lighting in this photo the bezel is darker and if you squint a little you can see exactly what a ceramic Explorer II would look like and I must admit that it would be an absolutely gorgeous watch.What are your thoughts on this? I personally think people would go crazy for this, waiting lists would be in line with the other ss sport models. Just what the explorer 2 needs to boost sales. The Daytona had a 100% steel bezel and went to ceramic, with an option of black or white for the dial. So it¡¯s not entirely unrealistic to expect the explorer to follow the same path, especially considering that it too has black and white dials. Interested to hear your thoughts. Richard
