Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 43772 wrist watches news:
Following the Only Watch 2009 auction, Vacheron Constantin announced that it is creating a special series of 100 numbered Quai de l¡¯Ile timepieces that will enable the company to donate an additional SFr.100,000 to the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy. The limited edition pieces will feature cases made from tantalum and in palladium, and the watches will be equipped with mechanical self-winding caliber 2460 movements bearing the Hallmark of Geneva. Each piece will be numbered and engraved on the back, and they will be available at 100 Vacheron Constantin points of sale around the world. About this special series, Juan-Carlos Torres, CEO of Vacheron Constantin, said:¡°Driven by a desire to transcend the gift we had made to the auction, we simply asked ourselves how we could open up a new and more lasting channel of funding on behalf of the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy over which Luc Pettavino presides in such a charismatic manner. Did Benrus use a glass or acrylic crystal for their wrist watches?
I have a couple questions on the 22654.50 Quartz seamaster. Any answers would be appreciated.1) Does the date have a quick set or is the only way to set it is to move the hour hand ahead? Most of my watches I have had had a quick set feature so I am curious if there is one and I am missing it.2) It was originally purchased in 2005 in the orient from a AD with all books, war. card etc. so it is authentic. My question is it came to me with a beautiful dark wood box with the round gold Omega tag on the front and not the red leather one. I am curious if it is the original box or one from another model? I'm thinking in the Orient they came with the wood and in the US the leather.3) Is the AR coating on the inside and outside of the crystal? The book says on inside and outside but I thought I had read that it was only on the inside of the crystal on this model. If also on the outside is it easy to scratch? Thanks for any info.
Just need some help from fellow forum members. I bought this datejust 116334 from a reputable dealer complete with paperwork and box. I had it for two years and it is keeping excellent time. I just noticed that the writing on the dial is missing. instead of swiss made it just says swiss on one side. I am a bit worried and confused, your feedback is much appreciated .
I've never bought a watch used before, and have been eyeing a new Datejust 116200. However, the more I research, the more and more I like the Explorer 114270 (36 mm). What is a fair price for one of these in good condition? What types of questions should I be asking and/or signs I should be aware of as I'm researching the purchase?Cheers!
