Wyler Vetta 8.11637.022.8 wrist watches news:
Mark's post regarding the Turner/World Traveller has prompted me to post an idea I've been kicking around the past 18 months.. Admittedly I stole the idea from another forum; but can safely say that it's not been done at the Hamilton Forum before....The idea is that we as a group send a Hamilton watch on a tour of the globe. At each stop the recipient will show the watch a good time; take it to visit local landmarks or events; take some pictures; post them here then send it to the next person.Even with the folk we have today the watch has the potential to see the US (duh), Canada, Deutschland, Japan, Australia, the Congo and South Africa. Depending on people's vacations who knows what this will extend to?So, in principle, what say you?Obviously we need to pin down a few rules. Who will provide the watch? (I have several we could choose from and I know I'm not alone in this regard); What model will it be? (has to be something that 'says' "Hamilton" but something that the owner can be
Hi allI've read lots of posts on servicing 'shocks' and the more fragile nature (compared to Rolex) of a Royal Oak, despite it being pitched as a Sports watch.I'd be really interested to hear from you guys about your experiences in terms of wearing a Royal Oak as an every day watch, in terms of general bumps and bruises and the follow on servicing.I'm planning on having one primarily for work (and then a Nautilus for special occasions only) and keeping my Rolex for bashing around on a daily basis, but keen to see if anyone has tried the Royal Oak as their main daily wearer?
During nights of the Holy Month of Ramadan, we enjoyed the very tasty Moroccan Tea ... I took some quick iPhone shots ... Hope you like them :-)
I¡¯m having an unsuccessful time finding photos of the new watches on display as we¡¯ve seen in previous years. The photos on Rolex are overproduced and not representative imho. Any leads. Thanks
If anyone has a quick link or resource much appreciated
