For 2015, Graham watches releases a new "Geo.Graham" watch which is part of their higher-end collection of classic timepieces. We first saw Geo.Graham watches back in 2012 with the release of Geo.Graham The Moon watch. These watches are more directly inspired by the classic work of watchmaker George Graham, whom the company is based on - even though he was British and Graham today is Swiss. The simply named Geo.Graham Tourbillon is a refined dress watch with a clear luxury position, but not at all pretentious. Of course, that should be tempered with the fact that tourbillons are like the chrome-plating of the luxury watch world - they add visual excitement and technical enhancements, but don't really add to a timepiece's ability to accurately tell the time. Well, okay, not that big, but huge and chunky for vintage Chinese......and I considered it a huge hole in my collection, so there's that :DMeihualu (deer? spot deer?) 17 zuan. 39mm width not counting crown; 34/35mm movement and the case is about 45mm lug to lug (so, a touch taller on my wrist than my 44mm M/Militaires).The back isn't the prettiest of the Chinese casebacks I've seen, and it's kinda scratched upbut that doesn't mean I'm not thrilled to have it ;-) Besides, I'll be more careful with it than the last owners, I bet.I don't know much about the movement except that evidently it's a pocket watch movement installed in a wristwatchwhich explains the size of the watch.Here's a wrist shot, just to show the size on my 6.5" wrist. Like I said: not that big, but huge for vintage Chinese.I'd love to know more about this piece (age, history) so any folks who know, please chime in :-! I think 70s but...

Leaving Rolex for Breitling
I'm trading a submariner for a brand new superocean steelfish plus some cash (to take care of a bill). Anyways can anyone let me know how the accuracy is on a breitling? I know they are cosc, and the one I'm getting is a caliber 17. Is this an eta movement? Or an in-house movement. I've only owned Rolex, so I'm naive to breitling. Thanks for any help with this.
