Seiko Seiko 20677 wrist watches news:
This just in some quick and dirties:Tutima NATO TL military chronograph
Now normally (in my opinion) I would go for an auto movement vs. a quartz simply because it has more soul/dont have to be bothered to change the battery. But I got to thinking, if your picking up something like a Seiko, it appears the quartz movements are MORE expensive? Why is this? Also the above hold true in the short term, but what about the long term? Do all automatic movements have to be serviced every 10 or so years? The reason I ask is because I am picking up a Seiko and I have the option to go for auto or quartz in the same style, do I really want to take a Seiko in to get the automatic movement serviced for the same cost (if not more) than I paid for the actual watch in a few years time? Or am I going to have less issues in the long term if I go with the quartz? Or am i just looking at this all wrong lol
I've finally arrived in Maui. A beautiful magic carpet ride on a Boeing 767 wide body. Man that was sweet. I've come to take lots of pics, although I left my good cameras at home - not enough room for that stuff. I am on the look for a new watch and for some new straps for existing watches.I pulled in to my old watchmaker guy here and he has already sold me on my next watch - A diamond Rolex Date/Just. It has just enough bling. I've always liked this model, and I don't know how I would top it for the money. The price includes a full service and regulation back to COSC specs. More about this later.Hang on for some travel shots, my HOGS.
Will the shorter speedmaster clasp interchange with the seamaster clasp? The bracelet links appear to be identical. I have no need for the dive suit extention and would prefer the look of the smaller speedmaster clasp on my midsize SMP.Thanks,N.K.
Just got a 722 with bracelet. Thought i¡¯d post some pics since I haven¡¯t seen a lot of info about this model. 42mm and bracelet, very ¡°notPanerai¡±. Recently sold 2 Rolexes and a Jaeger so I was looking to maybe purchase 2 new watches. 1 more expensive and 1 for whatever was left. I have had the 320 GMT before and was kind of thinking about Panerai again although it was a tad too big for my wrist. Was looking at the 682 but as it turned out I bought another watch on a rubber strap first so I needed something else. Went to the shop and tried on everything, found the 722 that just got delivered to the store and I am so pleased. 42mm, new bracelet which is very nice and it¡¯s a Panerai. First pic is of the 2 watches bought on Friday, 1 Panerai and 1 weird thing on a rubber strap:)Needless to say...Friday was a good day!
