- Comfortable, nice looking and tough. The velcro band ripped open from the impact of 30 feet cliff jumping but I found the watch at the bottom of the 15 feet of water, definitely waterof. Still wearing it to work everyday, and bike/swim with it all the time. Love this watch!

Chopard 20/7060 wrist watches news:
My very first post on this fantastic forum was just after New year. I had been so lucky as to have recieved a new sub date from my wife for Xmas.Reason I posted was that the "credit card" guarantee that came with the watch was for a datejust model 116233. You guys were very helpfull, thank you and as you guesed this was a mix up at the ADs. I have contacted the AD severel times since and they have assured me they would sort it out. I walked in there yesterday on a trip to town and spoke to the boss. He told me the original guarantee could not be found and Rolex HQ refused point blank to issue a duplicate. To cut a long story short without any argument he offered me either a substansial discount or a brand new watch. I chose the latter and am wearing the original until the replacement comes. I was comforted that Rolex stick their guns and that my AD in Stavanger Norway looks after his customers. Will post a pic when the new one arrives.:D
If a certain brand can only set at 672, 960, 1248 turns per day (and can do cw, ccw, bd) and i have lets say a Valjoux 7750 which requires 800 TPD..where should we set the watch winder at? 650 ?
I just ordered one, light dial, leather strap. Anyone concerned by the synthetic parts in the movement? I thought about it, then thought about my Glocks and stopped being concerned. I'd hope they'd thoroughly test them out for durability before putting them into production. Also, anyone know the lug width? I'm not a huge fan of croc patterned leather.
I'm turning 19 in a couple of weeks and I am getting ready to purchase my first luxury watch, after many years of being a gigantic watch enthusiast. I was originally set on the Submariner but to be completely frank, I am put off by the idea of wearing a Rolex watch at my age. I feel like a Speedmaster would be much more fitting for a young man, since it does not scream rich and spoiled yuppie the way the Submariner might. Should I buy a Speedmaster and save the Submariner for when I am older and more mature, or should I just get the Sub now? I would love to get your opinions. Thank you so much
Several have asked me about an updated closeout list and there may be one upcoming but if you are interested in a particular Omega, now is the time to give Jim a call. His office lease expires in a couple of months and he needs to dispose of his inventory before then. He is ready to cut some deals on existing inventory. He would rather ship his watches to his forum friends than to a reseller. He is also shipping some swag down for those attending the Atlanta GTG on April 30th. More on that later.
