Baume et Mercier 10082 wrist watches news:
Hi guys! I have a 1945 Omega gold watch wich belonged to my father's grandparent . I don't know it's value. DSC04298.jpgDSC04299.jpgAnyone can help me?
So, Rolex has increased their prices (like many other watch brands) quite a bit, despite a very strong downturn in the economies of the US & Europe. The 'reasons' range from higher demand (which very few probably believe) to metal prices to currency fluctuations.Well, reading the release of the 2010 COSC certifications yesterday, I saw an interesting trend, and one that 'bucks' what the manufactures and dealers say - global demand is not only strong but growing. Now Rolex does not release actual sales, but the majority of their models are COSC certified, and the percentage of COSC certified models vs. the not has not changes much over the years (the ND Sub is the only exception I think). So COSC certifications are a pretty good indication of sales. Not exact for that year, as not every movement is sold the same year it's certified, but for year-year comparisons it's probably pretty close. So in:2000 - Rolex certified 635,209 movements2002 - 814,720 movements2006 - 710,752 moveme
So I saw a nice Colt Chrono A7338710 posted locally on Craigslist. It looks like a fake to me, but can someone with a better eye confirm it?
I love that watch, anyone here have one?
I do not intend this to be another ^what should I buy ̄ thread. People end up buying what they like no matter the input of others. This is more my attempt to put my thoughts on paper so that maybe this will help others as they are searching as well. If you think I am missing something please feel free to chime in. I do hope this creates some discussion! This will be my one watch so I have some requirements:, I want to wear it with everything-- from shorts and t-shirt to a suit. Still deciding if the sporty or dressy models will work best., Special, timeless design with round case and not overly busy. Heirloom-worthy for my son, I do not want it to overpower my smallish wrist (see wrist shots), Flair, but not overly flashy, At least 100m water resistance, I prefer a date complication just for practicality sake, but not a must-have (hence my love for the 214270)My background:, I am 30 years old and I wear a suit to work Mon-Thurs
