Breitling AB011011/C788 - 375A wrist watches news:
It's a little late but better late than never later. My Wife felt bad about the watch case she gave me for Valentines day not working out and she surorized me with thisI love me some RD. Wrist shots to followphoto from Invictawatch
Admittedly I'm becoming obsessed with this watch -I can't wait till I get one so that I can quickly lose interest in it!But I was wondering what you guys think...I think that it is a given that after Basel 2011 all PO's will have the Liquid metal Bezel/dial..So, how will the 1948 limited editions be different? The red SEAMASTER?THE dial itself?the Words 'limited edition?or will you have to pull out the box and papers to show that it's one of the limited?
Any frequenters of the also excellent Watchuseek forums may recognise this post, but I also thought of posting here too, as I find the members of this forum to be more knowledgeable :)After falling hopelessly in love with the 2254.50, I decided to pool my funds so I could get one....After searching the bay and other online resources, at this point of time; I have found that it retails (used, in reasonably good condition) from about $1200 to $1400 USD. As you all know, with Omega no longer producing the 2254.50, Omega fans have hinted at the idea of it becoming a classic. With this in mind, do you think prices will increase in the future?Should I get one now? With around the same amount of money I could get a brand new Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece, which I also like very much... Something along the lines of this:Any thoughts? Is the hype surrounding the 2254 really justified?
Hi All, Thinking hard about the 5990...chrono and GMT are probably the complications I like the most and a grey dial adds some variety to what I currently have in the stable. Out of curiosity, what kind of discount have you been getting at AD for this? I know it varies by country/city - if it makes a difference the cities I spend the most time in are full of many deep pocketed individuals (New York, Singapore, London) who buy a lot...Anyone love/hate the 5990? With all the shenanigans going on lately, well......found myself lookingat.....well......Omega's.....yes I know, I know, but.........just sayin'.
