Hublot 301.SX.1170.SX wrist watches news:
Hey people,I was in an AD today and whilst chatting He told me that the Omega rep had shown him a picture (on a laptop) of the next generation SMP 2254.50!!!!!Seems that it is being discontinued but only to be re-invented as a Co Axial, black, applied logo version of the Bond style, complete with the Bond style bracelet!!!Now I don't know any more and neither did he but apparently it's being unveiled at Basel next yearI've always reckoned that a black version of the Bond would be a winner and apparently so have a lot of other's since Omega is supposedly going with popular demand on this one!I asked if this was just watch industry "gossip" but he was very clear that he had seen the pic on the reps laptop and that it was defiantly happening!I don't know if it will be an exact reproduction of the Bond but in black or if it will retain most of the styling of the 2254.60 but with the bond bracelet, applied logo and markers and sword hands? He did however say it defiantly had the same round
It has an ETA movement but, the case is made and the watch is assembled in Germany.
I typically wear my 190 with a well-worn ammo strap and LOVE it. Recently however I have been contemplating selling my 190 to raise some funds and the decision has been killing me. Tonight I decided to take off the ammo strap and put on the OEM calf. Nearly instantly the 190 became boring and uninspiring - amazing. I guess the moral of the story is that the strap can indeed make the watch. Sure the 190 is still brilliant with its JLC movement, gold hands etc, but it is not the complete package without the right strap. Looking at the watch in this light makes a sale more palatable.Any similar experiences?
Hi,Was hoping that someone could help me with what type of dial is on this Hamilton pocket watch.I know it is a five minute watch. But I have never seen one without numbers or numerical at all, just marks with the five minute above it.Any help would be grateful. Thanks
Omega is the official time keeper of the Olympics...we all know that...I have yet to see anything Omega on TV....not a banner in the background,,a sign...a clock...nothing! Not a mention of Omega. Shouldnt Omega be all over the place??? How are they going to sell any watches??
