Chopard 16/1860/1 wrist watches news:
Thanks to watch maker Ulysse Nardin, The Night's Watch now has a watch. Teaming up with HBO, Ulysse Nardin has produced a limited edition version of their Marine Diver for the Game of Thrones. The pre-mechanical fantasy medieval world now brought to life in the popular cable television show, now has a timepiece all its own. Just don't expect to see the piece on the wrist of Jon Snow or other members of the celibate order of honorable men and prisoners who man "the wall."As an eager "watch spotter" when it comes to timepieces worn by characters in television shows that I like, I was resolved to the fact that there would be no timepiece identification opportunities in The Game of Thrones. Series author George R. R. Martin is probably more of a suspenders aficionado, but I bet he would like this. Actually, the author does wear a watch, but he wears it face side down under his wrist - so I can't tell what it is.As a limited edition of just 25 pieces, this version of the Ulysse Nardin Marin

Hello guyz,I have been lurking on this site for some time. From my experience I can tell there are a lot of knowledgable and friendly people on this forum. So I was wondering if I could get some advice on purchasing a seamaster. The model I am interested in is the black seamaster 2254.50. I am form Canada and have seen the model at my local AD and it is a very good price. ...Now for my question.. the sales person recommended that I pick up the watch (of course) because it was a good deal since omega will be dicontinuing the watch and putting a co-axial movement in the new model. So my question is should I wait and get the upgraded model with the better movement...i.e. more precise and longer service times, or should I save myself $1000? and stick with the current model and movement??Any thoughts would be appreciated.Oh, by the way, I will probably have this watch for a very long time before I buy another OMEGA (wife + 2 kids + one on the way). Thanks in advance...P.S. I am basing my pri
:):) with all of the previews of all the new designs coming out for many brands, they seem to have one thing in common .innovative new styles that seem sort of busy. I will say Omega still has the most pleasing designs, so if they look a bit different than we're accustomed to, will these designs be the standard one day and the 2254 look "old fashioned"?I'm sometimes slow to change, the first time I saw the 2254 I didn't like it at all, now it's my favoritewill that happen again, do you have the same thing happen?just wonderingdiver88:):)
Anyone with an Omega Solar Impulse care to share their thoughts or pictures?
