Cartier W7100015 wrist watches news:
The Antikythera Mechanism is the oldest known scientific computer, dating back to 100 BC.? Designed by the Greeks, all knowledge of the device was lost for 2000 years until it was rediscovered in 1901 on a shipwreck off the Greek Island of Antikythera.? Over a century later, we find out that the Mechanism is really one of the first mechanical devices designed to predict celestial events and eclipses.? In other words, it's a clock. ?If you think you've read this before somewhere else, you have.? We wrote those exact words when a dude replicated the Antikythera mechanism out of LEGO.? Now, Hublot is apparently trying to do the same (though we suspect not out of LEGO, unfortunately).? The Hublot Antikythera will be only 30mm thick (which yes, is super thick for a watch) but when compared to the original Antikythera at 20cm, it looks to be a rather impressive achievement.?As more info trickles out, we'll be sure to update you.(via Perpetuelle)

This (marked Kreisler) flex band came on an Astronaut I purchased on eBay. It's a little loose so id like to shorten it. The links look a little like some of my other older bracelets but I cant figure out how to remove the pins/bars.Do I just need a tool small enough to fit in the tiny holes on what look to be the adjustment links? Thanks.
As Basel approaches & the hype mounts regarding the unavailability of SS sports models, I find I¡¯m more drawn to them. Marketing tactics aside, the lighter weight, lower cost and tool watch ethos appeals to me. Sooo I¡¯m looking at the D- blue but would like a better proportioned bracelet similar to the SD 43. Any insights? Rumors? Assurances from AD¡¯s?
