Every since I was a little kid I was always fascinated with watches my father had a couple old pocket watches in his drawer and I would go in his room and look at them every chance I got. Then my grandmother got me a Westclock pocket watch for my birthday and that was it I had to have more. My taste evolved from there as I got older and had more money I started buying Seiko's and bought them for quite a while, then I was driving up I-75 and saw a billboard with a Breitling Chronograph and fell in love so I went to the jewelers that had the billboard and did not know watches could cost that much so I did not get my Breitling that day but I never stop thinking about it. I did the next best thing I went looking for a watch that was a chronograph but less money. I ended up with a Sector for $1000 and after about two years I got my first charge card and guess what I bought you guessed it a Breitling Chronomat all steel with a silver face and blue subs. Apologize for no photos, but I did not bring my camera.So we are at a Newcomers Club of La Jolla event, Western themed party.And we are seated randomly. So I noticed the guy next to me was rocking a 5712 (at first I thought it was a 5711). Well, I asked him about his Nautilus and he had just bought in a few days ago from our local PP dealer, and we began a 2 hour watch discussion, much to the consternation of both of our wives and the others at the table. Even though both our wives wore Rolexes, they are not really into watches.He showed me photos on his phone of his 15 watch collection, which included several Pateks, a Rolex DSSD, a GP, a minute repeater, an IWC, and so on. He specializes in complications.He uses a microscope to examine the finishing on his watch and has taken some stunning shots of the movements. He struck me as a loner and does not participate in forums.

Hey y¡¯all I¡¯ve recently join the forum and I am so fascinated with all you guy¡¯s knowledge about Rolex and your collection choice when it comes to Rolex . I¡¯ve recently acquired and DD40 rose gold to my collection as my second Rolex ,as my 16600 which I bought more than 10 years ago . As I¡¯ve become more active in this forum I started to see that the SS sport watch is become very popular among all the Rolex¡¯s owner . Here is my question , I am thinking about upgrading my 16600 to newer model of SS sport , my first choice is SD43 ,2nd is BLNR Batman ,3rd is TT sub blue dial or Hulk 4 is Daytona Ceramic (I know I won¡¯t be able to buy one now ) Which watch do u think it¡¯s the best to get ?
