Movado 3600262 wrist watches news:
No, not bumped off, just fired. Things are not good, but maybe they'll get better sooner than later. All the sales reps in my region were brought into a meeting this past Thursday and were told our positions were eliminated. I've been there for 21 years and earned a very good income for the past 5-8 years. I guess we're a victim of economy cutbacks. They offered us 2 job options with the company, both of them earning less than 1/3 of what I earned last year. Option 1 would be sales work during the day 9-5 with maybe some evenings, but wouldn't be enough money to even pay my mortgage with after taxes, and we have a small mortgage! Option 2 would be working at night from 230-9pm Monday - Friday with some Saturdays which means I'd never see my family except for Sunday. That would stink. The money would be about 1/2 of what I make now, maybe less. I'm going to try to get the day job earning alot less and look for a job in my spare time on the weekends and evenings. If I don't ge
I sent my vintage Seamaster in for a new & correct crown & thought it deserved a new strap as well:I absolutely love this classic beauty, it is elegant, accurate & shows its age well.
So, since "Men in Black 3" is out, I'm reminded again that I saw the Ventura in the first movie, and was surprised that it was a still-manufactured watch (I was not into watches 15 years ago). I saw the stainless XXL in the store a few days ago and was thinking that maybe it's time to pull the trigger. But I went to the local Tourneau store today to try one one and, well, I have big wrists is all I'm gonna say.Anyone know of Hamilton (or someone else) makes longer straps for any of the Ventura models? They won't take normal straps...
Just bought this one on the 'Bay. Has an 11ESK movement (ETA 1080) running strong, clean case and wonderful patina on the dial. For now, I'll just post the seller's pics. More to come...$(KGrHqVHJCcE7zBG,ZHqBPEzosY6mQ~~60_12.JPG$(KGrHqZHJ!4E7)t)J3+bBPEzpJUKgQ~~60_12.JPG
