Invicta 14973 wrist watches news:
From what I understand one of the differences between the 1861 and the 1863 in the sapphire sandwich is that the break in the 1861 is plastic and the break in the 1863 is metal. Is there any real drawback to the metal break? even though I have yet to try on the different models in person, I feel the sapphire sandwich is calling my name. My concern is giving up performance just so the movement will look prettier. Maybe I'm being to over analytical.Dave
To take my two sentimentle(sp) in for service and restoration. I believe I've found a new watchmaker in my town and I'm going to give him a try. I'm taking in my Grandfathers Lathin Swiss MechanicalAnd his Timex ElectricHe comes highly recomended from a fellow Chronophile in town so we'll see how he does.As I said, I think it's time to put these into the rotationThey're a little small for my taste but I'm sure I'll feel differently after there fixed and cleaned up.
Hello, fellow time piece enthusiasts,I'm the type of person who lives a good quality, unique, uncommon and aesthetically pleasing time piece. If there is one thing I absolutely hate, it's seeing the same watch on my wrist, also on someone else's wrist; this is why I rarely wear my MK Runway. Every time I put it on, I'll see three people with the same watch as mine. This is also why I'll never buy a Rolex Submariner; every swing'n dick has one!Recently though, I've begun to really dig Movado. I've always loved the classic Museum style, but again, found them to common to spit the endless variation. I finally purchased my first then I found the Bold Chronograph. I really digged this because it screamed Movado, but was unlike anything we would expect from the brand. Last week I got married and my wife presented me with what I consider to be the sexiest Movado ever made. It was sold under the model name "La Neuvelle." It's SS w/ a classic Museum face and a very small 12 o'clock do
I put my AP Panda on a big test tonight.Timing my porterhouse steaks on the grill.Using the chrono. And I was able to see the time in the subdials. With my failing eye sights at twilight. The red needles on white tick marks stood out over the black dials.Passed the test. Good bear.
Does anybody have any pictures, experiences, or comments about Patek cufflinks?Do you any of you match patek cufflinks with patek watches?Do any of you think it is a bit to much to have both a watch and cufflinks with the calatrava cross or the nautilus shape? Is the price worth it?
