It is with great delight that I see beloved Temption watches available on eBay from time to time. The small yet inspiring German watch maker produces around 700 watches a year only. So you can imagine how few of those end up on the eBay America. Watch Expo is one of the few US dealers of Temption watches and has a two available on eBay now. The far rarer of the two is a Temption Cherubin-R White Watch with beautiful blue hands and accents. A watch that retails new for over $6,000. It is available on eBay new for almost half of that.The Temption Cherubin-R is a gorgeous watch. Plump hands on a well designed face make for remarkable legibility and function. Temption makes it a point that each specific watch has a slightly different color with matched cabochons (decorative elements usually gems, placed inside of a crown) in the crown and pushers, so you are getting a truly unique watch for your investment. A tale of two watches.
I picked up a watch as sort of a companion to another watch I have. Both arrived with their outer boxes, inner boxes, protective pads and warranty booklets.Both watches have their original, virtually unworn bands.The backsides of both are equally well preserved.Although both are in relatively similar condition and style, one is worth 10x the other......unless you really, really like trains.

Oddball Hamilton Pocket watch model 910 & 941
My grandfather died recently and being his apprentice he left me his jewelry repair shop. Going through his things I found a Hamilton pocket watch. The movement is engraved 910 but the serial numbers on the movement and the case don't match. According to info I found through reading other threads on the forum I found that the case is a 14k from a 941 made between 1899-1900 and the movement is a 910 made in 1917. Has anyone ever seen any combinations like this before? Does it add to or take away from the value? I took it to a pawn shop but the guy had no idea what to make of it then I took it to a watch shop but the salesmen was offended at the idea of me selling it. I have no sentiment attached to it and I'm sure there is someone out there who would appreciate it more than me. I just have no idea what it is worth beside the gold value.Sorry for the bad picture of the case but I cut my hand opening it and was bleeding profusely.
