Invicta 13661 wrist watches news:
Hey Guys,Would like to locate AP SS Openworked 41mm. Any out there at stores?
THE AP BUG HAS TAKEN HOLD.......I AM HOOKEDYes I'll unwrap/desticker it soon
Spoke with my AD yesterday. He reckons AP have told them to buy in $600k (usd) of AP stock per year or lose their Dealership. My AD says there is no way they are going to expose themselves this much, so it's Au-Revoir AP!That's just great, AP, now my nearest AD will be 350 miles away in another country.
I recently discovered the Rolex forum and the members in the Vintage section gave some good info on my Explorer II which is now being serviced. What brings me to the Omega section is that I needed to have a watch to wear while the Rolex is being worked on. I looked in my bureau drawer and discovered my late father-in-law's old Seamaster which had sat there for over 40 years. I wound it and it ran for 4 days when it stopped and refused to run again. My questions are: is the watch worth being repaired, and does it have any collector value? It certainly has sentimental value to me as he was a really nice guy. As you can see from the attached photos the watch has had some use. The crystal and the case both have scratches. The band is a Speidel (are they still in business?). Any information that you can give me would be appreciated. After digging through that drawer again I came up with a Waltham self-winder which I'm sure is older than the Seamaster. It's been running for a week and keeps
I have started collecting vintage watches other than vintage rolex and vintage tudor for quite some time. Especially for vintage diver watches, I have just found these vintage diver watches are very interesting. I have bought this Japanese book and it is a very good reference for a wide variety of both vintage and contemporary diver watches. Other than that, .scubawatch.org is a very good reference as well.Since then, I have collected vintage Seiko divers 150m ref : 6105 8110, and 300m ref : 6159-7000 ; Eterna Kontiki Super ; Longines Nonius ref : 8225 ; and Tudor BC 7924.Seiko 150m (6105-8110)Seiko 300m (6159-7000)Eterna kontiki superLongines Nonius (8225)Tudor BC (7924)This time, I have found this vintage diver with exotic dial and iconic sword type military hands, omega seamaster 200 ref : 166.068 which was produced in around 1970. Because of colorful exotic dial with the yellow color as the key tone, it is also ¡°banana¡± seamaster. [pic borrowed]In additional to its exotic dial
