- I have really enjoyed this watch. I particularly like the altimeter when I'm hiking because it let's me know on up and back hikes how much elevation I will have to face on the return trip. The compass is cool and the temperature reading is helpful. I also really like the day glow feature that automatically turns on when you move your arm in the night. Sleeping with it took a bit getting used to, but at least when I wake up in the middle of the night, I can see the time. Great buy and would highly recommend it. I would have given it 5 stars, but the alarm sound is too faint to really be useful.

Ulysse Nardin 246-92-8/600 wrist watches news:
For top-tier brands like Patek Philippe,?exotic materials such as gold, in all its hues, and platinum are almost exclusively used when it comes to their more complicated models, while steel is primarily reserved for the sportier and/or simpler pieces, like the Nautilus and the Aquanaut. The irony this creates is that once steel¨Cthis most ordinary material¨Cis coupled with a flagship reference, it immediately gains a status of desirability, due to it being systematically ignored in the past. In this environment exotic pales into usual, and ordinary becomes special. At Baselworld 2014, Patek Philippe has announced that it terminated the manufacturing of its very complex¨Cand equally desirable¨Cannual calendar automatic chronograph Reference 5960 in any and all precious metals, and from now on will offer it exclusively in stainless steel. That is a bold decision to make, and one that likely caught even the brand's more cult followers off-guard.As we were undertaking the research for our arti

Looking at buying my first apI have narrowed it down to two options for my budgetA roo diver brand new or a second hand roo rubber clad with white/ silver faceAny advice greatly appreciated Thanks in advance
Just received a minty 2534.50. A nice sibling for my 2254.50.Here are some pictures from Scott Grossman's original listing (hope that is OK... I am a terrible photographer and his pictures were great).btw...Scott was very good to deal with... highly recommended.
thank everyone I've pestered for info last 2 weeks.Special thanks to Brian who baby sat me at the AP boutique and Wempe. The 5167 came in today and its still as beautiful as I saw it at the AD!I'm not saying this because I'm trying to justify the crazy purchase(my ex would've said.. 'are you crazy??? we could have donated the money to ASPCA).Design wise, I find this watch to be very 'clean' and well balanced. As others had already mentioned the way the light plays on the dial is unreal.. subtle but very unique!I had a difficult time of choosing this watch over the Naut. After looking at the 5711 for a while, there's just too many horizontal elements going on (dial and fin thingys on left side of case) which makes the watch look 'squat'. Its like heavier women should not wear horizontal strips. In any event, anyone know how to remove the pins on the clasp? Is it just a normal push pin?Cut rubber and re attach??Tingoh btw, the box the watch came in is almost worth the price of admission!
