Goodbye Daytona!
I have now flipped my SS Daytona for a BNIB DSSD that a friend of mine collected from his AD some days agoI felt it was time to let the Daytona go and get the DSSD back that I have missed after having flipped it. I am so happy it's back on my wrist! Here are some pics, as usual:FYI, there are exactly 22 pieces of plastic on the DSSD:Some mandatory wristshots:We got some snow tonight, so I thought I would just take some pics..As you can see, we have a permanent Christmas tree in our yard! :rocker:FYI, the DSSD weighs in at 214 grams:

State of Rolex
Had some time to kill today in NYC. Visited three prominent Rolex ADs and a Rolex boutique. I found one Smurf. Other than that, no subs....not even a ND. No GMTs....not a one. Only 2 of them had YMs. I find this ridiculous.I also talked to two separate managers regarding the SS Pepsi, who told me the same thing my AD has:They currently don't know how many they are getting or when. BUT...they anticipate getting 2 or 3 A YEAR. If true (I've heard this from 3 separate sources), let that sink in. And if you think your local AD will be getting more than ADs in the middle of NYC, then I have a bridge I want to sell you.
