Richard Mille RM007 wrist watches news:
I know that a lot of Patek Philippe fans just love the differences in the calibres between the different models. However, Rolex do not have quite such a wide variation in calibres as Patek Philippe. So, does it "put you off" that (for example) a DateJust, Submariner and Sea-Dweller all share the same 3135 calibre?Do you see this as "the same watch in a different case" or doesn't it bother you?Do you wish Rolex had more varied calibres, or do you like the fact that Rolex are using "tried and tested" calibres? For example, one of the latest Rolex watches unveiled at Baselworld 2008, the Sea-Dweller DeepSea shares the same movement as its predecessor and many other models in the line - albeit with slight tweaks such as a parachrom bleu hairspring.Of course, Rolex do not currently produce an exhibition back unlike Patek - so does it matter at all?Cousins:Exhibition back on Patek 5127J Calatrava (Caliber 315 S C)More information about the 5127 can be found on the WTF Patek Philippe forum under

of up-close and personal browsing today.... The ROOs were all great, but I have to say, the Millenary is awesome on the wrist, and my favorite of this bunch. After a long hiatus, I'm trying to get back into watch collecting. The only watch left in my stable is an IWC Portuguese 5001 in steel with a black dial. I used to have a 111, but sold it to fund other things. Now I'm itching to add a Panerai back to my collection. My first thought is perhaps the most obvious choice: the 372. That said, I'm feeling the itch to be a bit more adventurous. The 504 caught my eye. Generally, I prefer the base models or those with sub-seconds. I'm also biased toward in-house movements because I'm that kind of snob. Let's further assume this will be the only Panerai in my collection. What is the right choice? The 372 is close to winning out, but I wonder if it's too pedestrian to represent a manufacturer/brand known for unique special editions. Thanks!
All Mods were discussing how many new members we've been getting and he suggested that we might just have to cover the issue of posting up pictures of a sensitive nature, for the benefit of our new members.Given the diversity of our motley crew here, the mods agreed a while back that pictures corresponding roughly to M(18) ratings or above can be posted, but the posting should be done in a manner respectful of everyone's sensibilities. The solution we came up with was that these pictures should be posted as links instead of images, so that they would not show up when the page was opened, but anybody could click the link and view them if they so wished. Also, these pictures should be posted with some notification of their nature (e.g. adult pic or cleavage pic ).No controversial images which may cause offense to the membership including any images which could be construed as racist, sexist, violent or pornographic. No gun, knife or miscellaneous weaponry images since we are a worldwide
