Newbie Questions on Purchasing a New Omega
Hi Guys,Long time lurker, first post.I'm currently thinking about purchasing my first Omega - either a 212.30.41.20.01.002 (Black Bond) or Black 2254. A couple questions:1) Is there, do we have, a recommended online store(s) to purchase from. I want a legit, authorized Omeganot a gray market one. I've clicked on the links for the sponsors of this forum and I don't see them as selling current/new watches. Is there a place I should looking into that we trust, that will provide an authentic/warranted watch at close to gray market prices?2) If I purchase online, what is the best procedure to get the band fitted? Do you guys just take into any watch dealer and pay them to fit the band?3) Any suggestions between these two watches? It would be my daily & primary watch.

Is Window Shopping Worth It?
Yesterday, I went to the mall to get something for my camera and while I was there, decided I may as well check out a few watches in the couple nice stores they have there. I had a couple of nice conversations with some sales people, especially in the second store. Got to try on some Tags, Breitlings, Cartiers, and Rolexes and look at the new lines. But I knew that I almost certainly wasn't going to buy anything. I had fun, but it is always hard to walk away empty handed especially if you find something you like, which I did in a Cartier dress watch I tried on.What do you guys think: is window shopping worth the inevitable let down of not getting a new watch? I tend to think it is, especially with the right kind of sales people who actually know about watches.
