- I have been wanting this clock/watch for the longest time...now my only regret is that I did not get it sooner. I get a lot of conversation about it...it is made very well, easy to read and can be very inconspicuous.

Omega 12320352008001 wrist watches news:
I know there are C.O.S.C. standards are for timekeeping; I was just wondering if Omega has some sort of standard regarding a "window of opportunity" for when the date changes on the 1120 movement. I'm sure there's quite a bit more latitude for something like that, if there even is such a consideration. My 2254 changes anywhere from 2359 hrs to 0003 hrs (11:59 pm to 12:03 am).Just curious.:)
the very welcoming fellows on WTF who may not have seen my GTG report elsewhere!I hope it helps fit a few faces to the new arrivals!! Earlier today I bought a bottle of Gin (had never tasted it before) and had 3 cups of Gin. I awoke latter in front of my computer to find out that I had bid on Ebay on an Omega Speedmaster. The maximum bid I put in was 20,000 USD, I guess I was so drunk I tried to put $2,000 USD and instead hit 20,000.Luckily the bidding ended at $1,600 USD and luckily the buyer seems extremely reputable with over 2,000 sales and 100% perfect rating. The pictures of the watch are great and looks to be 100% spot on authentic. Please see link and let me know what you think:cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380074744140At any rate, I do not know why on earth I bid on a Speedmaster while drunk as am not very familiar with Omega and much less with the Speedmaster. However, if my drunk self thought this watch was worth $20,000 USD then am sure my sober self can learn to love it at the $1,600 USD price i paid for it I just called 2 friends and asked them to come over tomorrow to finish the bottle of Gin fo

I've been looking for another watch to feed my habit and I've been offered a month old FC Chrono. I've never handled the watch. I have tried on an FC Diver and I liked it. That watch is now on the wrist of my friend YYZPAM. The price I'm quoted is OK not great. Any opinions from current and former owners? Now I'm being realistic and nothing is for ever. How was the watch to resell? I only ask because there are a few on the web that have been around for a long time.
