Bell & Ross BR 01-92 Gold Ingot wrist watches news:
Hello, I am the owner of a brand spanking new Omega Speedmaster, calibre 3606, day-date, 3220.50.00. (I am a gober, but I am particular about time.) But this is not my first Omega purchase. When my husband and I got engaged, I bought him a Seamaster GMT while we were both stationed in Saudi Arabia. He also had a another Seamaster of the dressier variety, but we ended up selling it on eBay as he never wore it. It was the blue faced one. Before I got this Omega the other day, I had the ladies "Moon Watch" Speedmaster Reduced. However, the stupid thing was gaining about 1 minute every 2 days!! It was driving me crazy! I might not be really model savvy, but I have a Ladies Tag that we got for $800 that has only missed a beat when the battery gave out. So this watch gaining time was making me crazy! Plus I had waited 6 years for my Omega and then after losing our infant son on Thanksgiving, we did a little retail therapy and I got my Omega. So I carried it back and got me the Speedmaster d
On many occasions I have urged people to bring in their mechanical watch for servicing every four to five years.During a lunch speech I gave yesterday on watches to a business club, I made that remark as well. One of the participants asked me to type in the URL of the blog of Nicholas Hacko an Australia based watchmaker. Not a single person in the audience had voiced anything against regular servicing after Mr. Hacko's blog was projected onto the wall by my beamer. Truly amazing, isn't it?
Hi Everyone. Quick question for you experts on the 3570.50 moonwatch:The tachymetre graduations of 60 and 120 on my bezel aren't dead center on the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock lines. I have one of those rubber tools that is used to remove the bezels from divers watches. If I grabbed the Speedie's bezel with this, could I just turn it slightly? Is it just simple a friction fit?I want to make sure there is nothing I would damage by doing this (such as adhesive or whatever).thanks!
My friend Micke J do it again. I ask him to made a light brown strap to my 562 and he suggest to use a french ammo with dark brown stiching.I'm really happy with the result, it's so soft and comfortable. Thanks my friend.
Debating making my first PM purchase and depreciation worries me. There are tons of different consumers out there - personally, I've bought some SS watches new from ADs that I knew were going to decently retain value, but now looking at PM pieces, I've been looking to buy used to save the hit. I've been able to find a 116655 for $16k and a 116719 for $20k. I understand buy bc you enjoy but I feel more comfortable buying something knowing if I want out in a few years, I won't take a bath. Each model I'm considering was selling for a lot more just 12-24 months ago and I'm worried if I buy a WG Pepsi for $20k, I won't be able to recoup more than $13-$14k in 3-5 years. Can someone with a lot of PM experience speak to depreciation on gold model Rolexes?
