Cartier Cartier 12794 wrist watches news:
The official Rolex AD in O__ B____, Illinois is having a special viewing of the Rolex 2009 Basel Launch Models next weekend. (9/26-27/09)(I do not know this forum's policy on an Official Rolex AD. Because they are not a sponsor, I will refrain from mentioning them by name and mask their location out of respect of our sponsors.)This may be a traveling trunk show type of event. Alternatively, it may be related to the Watchtime Magazine sponsored event on Tuesday Sept 29, 2009 in Chicago. (Jeff Kinston's traveling Basel review of new models.) I highly doubt this, as I went to this event two years ago and Rolex was NOT in attendance. If this is old information, I apologize. However, many local residents of Chicagoland may want to try to see these unique watches. I know I will be traveling thru Chicago and will likely try to see these new models.Just an FYI for anyone that might be interested.Regards,
I purchased my first new Seiko in about 13 years last week.....my last 3 Seikos were first generation Kinetics that were troublesome to say the least....and the experience with the service center in New Jersey soured me to the point where I swore I'd never buy another Seiko......Fast forward to the present. For a long time I've wanted an Orange Monster, but worried that it might dwarf my rather spindly wrists. I finally pulled the trigger last week and I'm a happy guy. It seems to be just the right size, looks fantastic, and I expect it to give many long years of service without the hassles my old kinetics gave me.
I'm awaiting delivery of a 42mm BC3 with a stainless bracelet, white dial, and blue numbers and hands. While I wait, I would appreciate some "real" photos rather than the ones used in ads. Thanks!
Am looking to purchase this 3572.50 but the case back doesn't sit well with me. Now, I don't have much experience with this model but when I compared it against other photos of 3572.50 case backs, this one looks quite a different. For one, the lettering is significantly off-centre.. secondly, the notches look off (shape and size a bit different). The seller is reputable and insists that it is legit. What do you guys thinks?
Hello All,I've admired the Patek 5164 from afar for quite some time but have never been able to handle one/see one at an AD. Are these just so popular that they are impossible to find, a la 5711, or have I just been looking in the wrong places? (i.e. NY/CT)
