Inspired by Aviation: Introducing the Montblanc 1858 Collection
Montblanc recently launched a new collection called 1858, inspired by 1930s pilots’ watches from the brand’s archives. At launch, two models have been announced, the?1858 Chronograph Tachymeter Limited Edition, in gold, and the?1858 Small Second Limited Edition, in steel.The first model is the 1858 Small Second Limited Edition comes in a 44-mm-diameter by 10.95-mm-thick stainless steel case and features a?large-diameter (37.2 mm) hand-wound movement reminiscent of those in pocketwatches from the same time period. The 17-jewel, 3-Hz (21,600 vph) caliber powers the watch and is visible through the sapphire caseback. 2001 Space Odyssee
I have a 2001 Hamilton Automatic Space Odyssee watch. I have found some online but mine has a mesh band and different size circles around the numbers..It runs perfectly and is in perfect shape. Any information or value of this would be appreciated. thank you

Rado Sliver Horse found and saved.
I pick up a Rado Silver Horse for the price of a pizza with four toppings. I was in bad shape scratches on the crystal, broken band, looked like some dropped it in mud there was mud under the band and in the gasket ring in the case, and the face had some damage, dirt and the R in Rado was almost completely gone and the Silver Horse was not on the face at all. The watch was not running needed cleaning which I did, but the main reason was the inner spring ring that goes around the movement was not seated properly and the watch would not wind do to that. The watch looks good I fitted on a new band with a spare part band I had and I was able to use the original Rado band clasp. Hopefully someday I can find a better face dial that still says Rado and Silver Horse on it. Still I think it looks good and its running very well.

Pastor Maldonado from Venezuela won the Grand Prix of Catalunya today. At the time of the podium celebration they had a close up shot of his dad and I noticed he wears nothing but a gorgeous Royal Oak in SS. It looks like a 5402ST to me. However, it could also be a 15202 or a 15300. Not sure! What do you think? 15300 to 5711, would you ?
Hi guys.I have been tempted lately by a little devil. I am thinking of maybe trading the 15300 white dial for a PP5711 white dial. Reason is not a financial one, it is mainly that I am not a man of many watches and I am thinking of diverting the funds for a datograph later on. Collection would be 2 to 3 watches at most but looking for true gems.Would you, would you not and the reason for it. Not that I don't like my 15300, far from it, I love it ! I am just thinking of jumping on the Patek world with a nice opportunity I have. I have always admired Patek for craftsmanship, exclusivity, under the radar and absolute beauty. Same apply to my AP in my opinion, but I am considering this opportunity I have.Let me know what you think.
