Breitling A13380 wrist watches news:
....from Orbita. Thanks a lot Kevin, I really appreciate it....
Hi All,I was thinking about travelling with my Rolex Sub, and about the things I might do, such as snorkeling, exploring cities etc and I was wondering about different strap options. My first thought was a NATO, since if a springbar were to fail you would not lose the watch, but then I read that NATOs put a lot of pressure on the springbars, and enough pressure might cause both springbars to fail.I thought a rubber strap might work, but again I am worried about springbar failure, since there is no stabilizing effect of the end link to avoid twisting of the strap pulling the springbar. Why not just keep it on the bracelet? First it seems like there is always a risk of a screw backing out or the clasp opening, but more important, it seems to me that traveling with a Rolex is a risk because someone might spot it and target you for robbery, and it occurred to me that a sub on a strap is much more low profile, plus you can always wear it with the watch on the inside of your wrist, then n
Hi gang, Long time listener, first time caller here. Just wondering if anyone has come across any aftermarket straps for their Divers Date? I've been wearing the rubber (pre "Oris" graphic) for about 4 yrs now and think it's time for a change. The bracelet doesn't appeal to me as I really don't like the polished look (prefer the brushed look of the Rolex bracelet), plus I use it for everything so a bracelet isn't convenient for sports. I would consider a Nato strap or something similar that would work for everyday use. Thoughts? Thx.
My wife says to me, 'Go buy a watch. Your budget is $2000.' To this I ask, 'what if I don't want to spend that much?' She replies, 'No less than $1500.' The idea is it will become an heirloom. The watch I have (and love) is a 38-mm Seiko 5 Sports done in 2-tone stainless and a champagne face. I'd like to have a watch that complements it. Suggestions please.
Just got the shipping notification email this afternoon! Can't wait!! Photo from Lum-Tec
