Breitling A13320 wrist watches news:
Every year at Geneva’s SIHH watch salon, a host of luxury watch brands (most of them owned by the Richemont Group) unveil their new timepieces to international retailers, collectors, and journalists. In recent years, other smaller, non-participating brands have set up shop outside of the SIHH in Geneva’s luxury hotels, displaying new models of their own. Here are three notable examples of such watches that we found this year.Manufacture Royale Androgyne Origine, 245th Anniversary Limited EditionNamed for the watch atelier founded by French literary icon Voltaire in 1770, this boutique brand is know for tourbillon watches with steampunk-influenced designs. The new Androgyne Origine commemorates 245 years since the foundation of the original Manufacture Royale. Its complex case is made up of 52 parts and is especially notable for its moving, flexible lugs that make the large timepiece eminently wearable on all types of wrists despite its rather large case diameter (43 mm). So what is the lowdown on crowns and dials? I've heard that Hamilton signed their crowns before 1950. True? I tend to think this isn't true because I see a ton of pre 1950 watches with unsigned crowns. Bottom line I guess isdoes a replacement crown greatly effect the value of the watch and how can I tell if it's a replacement? I've been matching up pictures but sometimes I still can't tell. Same with dials. Does an exceptional dial indicate a re-dial most likely? How can I tell if a watch has been re-dialed and does it matter? Thanks. Everyone have a good day.
My wife and spent the day at Clarkson Jewelers, our local Rolex AD. They had a Holiday Open House all weekend. I don't think that many people knew they were open on Sunday. We had the run of the store for the majority of +2 hours. We got to try on just about every watch they had. Then my wife spots a Yatchmaster, about the same I spotted this Transocean GMT. And now we have two new watches. We didn't take pictures of all the watches we tried on but I included the ones we did try.And the chrono I REALLY wanted!
I was wearing this speedy recently outside for a short time in the rain, the watch did'nt get wet,but when I went inside the inside of the crystal had condensation on it,it went away after 30mins or so. This watch is circa 1993. What does this watch need done to prevent this happening? Thanks Tom
Hey guys. I recently picked up a brand new PO for Christmas. Ever since I got it, I've been pretty much adoring my watch nonstop. I've never been so happy until about fifteen minutes ago...I realized that my watch would change its date 6 minutes prior to midnight. My Explorer II date wouldn't budge or move even the slightest bit until the last second of the last minute of the last hour. This SMP Planet Ocean seems to start moving it's date at 11:30 and completely change its date at 11:54. Here are some pictures of the changes. So I called the number I found on this forum for their customer service. An agent picked up the phone and I told him my issue. He responded by telling me that it is normal for a co-axial movement to change the date any time between 11:45 to 12:15. And then he insisted that if I sent in my watch that he could have it adjusted but it's completely up to me. At this point, I'm just thinking like WOW. I just spent a lot of money on something that has to be fi
