Hey guys !TRUE size 6s American Trench Watches are among the hardest to find and obviously some of the most sought after models to obtain.This 1917 Elgin Trench Watch did NOT start out as a pocket watch ! ! !The case was made to be a trench watch and is NOT a pocket watch case conversion like others that you will see ! ! !This case is CRAZY big, it measures 46mm lug to lug and 42mm with the crown.Size 3/0s Elgin trench watches are much smaller, around 36mm by 31mm on average.There are a couple versions of Philadelphia "Silverode" size 6s cases but this one is by far the most difficult one to obtain. (I'm sure Greg will drop in on this one)The second that I saw it I just had to have it and soon there after it was mine, all mine ! ! ! (well two days later).
