Bedat & Co 314 wrist watches news:
Who says you can’t go home again? Horological history repeated itself last week at Dresden’s Royal Palace, where A. Lange & S?hne introduced the limited-edition Lange 1 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst, a watch made to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Saxon brand’s iconic Lange 1 watch, which debuted at the same venue two decades prior.October 24, 1994, marked the rebirth of the A. Lange & S?hne watch brand, founded in Glash¨¹tte, in the German state of Saxony near Dresden, in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolphe Lange. Dormant since 1948, after the post-War occupation of East Germany by the Soviet Union, the brand was resurrected by the founder’s great grandson, Walter Lange, in the German reunification year of 1990. It was four years from the foundation of the modern-day A. Lange & Sohne brand to the release of its first collection, which took place at the Royal Palace of Dresden and was headlined by the timepiece that would become the company’s unquesti
Around this time every year, we have the chance to show you Christopher Ward's newest mechanical creation in collaboration with Johannes Jahnke. First was their C9 Jump Hour, then came their C900 Monopusher chronograph. Continuing this series is the new C900 Worldtimer, which takes a different approach to a multi-timezone watch and has a very unique and sculptural dial. These watches are particularly notable, especially given our general philosophy at worn&wound, as they tend to challenge what is generally perceived as possible in this price range. By creating bespoke mechanical complications, even if based off of ebauches, and maintaing prices well under $5k, they seem to be doing what so many larger brands cant or wont do.Inside, the new JJ03 caliber, base ETA 2893, has a couple tricks up its sleeve. First, it is a dual 24-hr time watch, so local and dual-time are on a 24-hr scale. Second, is its very unique and graphic way of indicating locations around the world, which we'll el

Unique... funky... and innovative; a classic or a footnote? After searching this forum for the better part of my lunch hour, I’m certain of at least one thing: hardly anybody talks about the Dynamic. In the 1970s it reigned as one of Omega's best-selling time pieces; an Omega flagship that captured the spirit of that decadent cocaine-using, disco-dancing, lapel-wearing decade. I can only imagine the ridicule one must have endured by wearing one of those conformist establishment watches (picture Rolex explorer) while dancing at Studio 54. You either wore a forward-looking watch like the Dynamic or you were a narc. But 40 years later, the Dynamic seems to be all but forgotten; tragic casualties of fashion like its much maligned bell-bottomed brethren. It's taken a back seat in the Omega mini-van, if not being kicked out of it altogether, for the likes of its historic sibling Moon Watch, the (now 007-endorsed) Seamaster, and the ever-elegant Constellation. Begging the question: Wh
I intend to buying an Omega Constellation 'C' case, model reference 168008 that comes with a caliber 564. However the seller, who is deemed to be reputable (there is nothing to prove otherwise) states:THIS IS A COPY OF THE OMEGA'S SITE DATABASE INFORMATION.As you can see caliber 561 was created in 1958 and caliber 564 was created in 1965 However this especial timepiece is very rare because it comes in a rare combination of yellow and white gold. I wasn't able to find information about this exact model As you can see on this Omega's site database you can see information about reference BB 168 009 and BA 168 009 but not about reference number 168 008 WHICH MAKES MY WATCH MUCH DESIRABLE AND EXTREMELLY RARE.!!! This watch may have existed with different dials.
