Omega 232.30.46.21.01.001 wrist watches news:
Victorinox has been making increasingly nice mechanical watches of late. The Dive Master 500 is an ETA 2892-based diver that has a lot of fans, and the Airboss Mach 6 Chrono, ref. 241447, is quite eye-catching. Based on the ETA/Valjoux 7750, it's a 3-register, 12-hour chronograph with date, which is a challenge to keep legible. VSA did a good job here, with well-sized sword hands and upright Arabic numerals. The date is tucked away at 4:30 with a color-matched white on black wheel, and the subdials have the same white-inside-black theme as the main dial. Concentric black and white at several levels including the bezel. I like it. Materials are good as well. Lume on hands, numerals and (unusually) logo, stainless steel case, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and mineral crystal exhibition caseback. Water resistance is 100m, enough for most usage. Case is sized for modern tastes at 45mm. I dislike the tachymeter on the bezel, but it's not too obnoxious and does add visual detail.List pric
These vintage Swiss-made chronographs from a storied American brand combine great looks and quality mechanics at an affordable price.2013 marked the 50th anniversary of the Heuer Carrera, an iconic racing chronograph from a classic Swiss brand. Although the Carrera's looks have never really gone out of style, anniversary celebrations throughout the year have rekindled collectors' interest in early versions of the watch, and record prices are being paid for the best examples. While it might be hard for the average collector to justify spending a month's salary or more on an original Heuer Carrera, the interesting details of the watch industry in the late &60s and early &70s make it possible for collectors on almost any budget to afford a Heuer-made chronograph#with another brand's name on it. Today, we'll look at a pair of such watches from American watch company Hamilton.HistoryIn 1966, Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster, PA purchased the Swiss watch company Buren. For the next three

I'm thinking more and more to buy my 1st Panerai. I'm spending hours on this forum looking at pictures and pretty much made my mind up that I really love a domed one. I think up to 44mm would be ok but 47mm seems to be to large on my wrist. Is it just me or do most domed Panerais come in 47mm?I do love the 233 but have seen some very nice other ones which I do not know the model numbers at the moment but they all look like 47's. My dream Pam would be around 44mm with domed sapphire and a brown suede leather strap. Any suggestion from our Panerai experts would be much appreciated. I really want a keeper and that's the main reason for taking my time. Thanks in advance,Frank
